Whats Watership Down?
It’s a 1972 tale about a group of rabbits in search of a new home. But, believe me, it’s not for little kids. The 1978 film version pushes the envelope on bloody deaths and nightmare fuel. The Netflix miniseries is subpar. But the 1999 animated series? The violence is toned down in a big way. And one of the rabbits, Blackberry‘s gender is changed to a girl. Might I suggest seeing the prologue?
Ok, I first read it as "Watertown Strip", a nickname for Homey Airport (KXTA) ( i.e. Area 51).
I looked it up; it's about a group of rabbits escaping an area due to a vision, finding hope at a second site. Escaping that second site, with a a jealous general in hot pursuit, and then settling down at their final site.
It sounds fascinating, I'll keep it mind. Unfortunately I have a busy work schedule that leaves me no time to read.
